Some close-ups of one of my favorite dishes, pasta alla Carbonara. In the original recipe there is no onion, and not so much oil and, especially, the cheese used is the Pecorino Romano. When living abroad, not all the ingredients are readily available, but fortunately I could find Italian Pasta :)
